AWARE, Atlanta Wild Animal Rescue Effort

Production Notes:

Whilst searching online for somewhere to take an orphaned baby opossum, found in our backyard, we came across AWARE, Atlanta Wild Animal Rescue Effort.

AWARE is the vision of Michael Ellis, who in 1999, founded the organization with the help of wildlife rehabilitation expert, Melanie Haire, and a small group of concerned friends.

Since AWARE relies on financial support from individuals and companies to achieve its many goals we decided to contribute a video as a way to help.

Michael provided all the photographs and we worked on the script together. After first trying a female voiceover, it was decided that Michael's voice would be the most compelling and appropriate.

The 2 minute video which is strategically positioned on the AWARE home page clearly communicates AWARE’s efforts regarding the preservation and restoration of wildlife and its habitat through education and wildlife rehabilitation.
