Contemplating Ellsworth Kelly

Contemplating Ellsworth Kelly

Production Notes:

Penelope & I visited the High Museum in Atlanta on Valentines Day 2010. One modality of our visit is illustrated here contemplating the work of Ellsworth Kelly, an American painter and sculptor associated with Hard-edge painting, Color Field painting and the Minimalist school. His works demonstrate unassuming techniques that emphasize the simplicity of form.

Introducing our human forms to interact directly with color, form and space creates the complexity and tension deserving of contemplation and our reflection.

We decided to have some fun with the photos and the Romanian folk music sound track after contemplation and reflection.
